Product description

With the on-camera technology of analyzing person and vehicle shapes, RLC-511WA offers accurate detections, thus greatly reducing the false alarms on trivial objects’ movements. Once an intruder is detected, the camera’s spotlights and siren will be triggered or manually activated to warn off the would-be criminal. Stop the crime before it happens. Built-in mic & speaker allow you to listen and talk back to whoever the camera catches in real time: A “hello” to friends or a warning to foes.

RLC-511WA provides you with a clearer visual quality & smoother live viewing experience. You can stay better informed with the hard-to-see details captured by the camera. When daylight is out, RLC-511WA with built-in spotlights continues to record in full color. This will bring more visual details that help identify people and cars than black-and-white videos. Its motorized varifocal lens provides a viewing angle of 27°~96°*, and its 5X optical zoom allows you to zoom in for astonishing details or zoom out for maximum coverage.

Long-term events like sun rising and flower blooming is hard yet fun to observe. RLC-511WA with time lapse makes it quicker and easier to capture the dynamic of such events, with stunning effect. NOTE! This feature is incompatible when camera is connected to NVRs.

By freely switching between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz (5.8 GHz) frequency bands, RLC-511WA provides higher performance for camera networking and much easier setup.

With a few clicks on Reolink App or Client, you can stay tuned with your home or business all the time. This smart camera supports 24/7 continuous, movement-triggered and scheduled recordings. All 3 types of video can be saved in the micro SD card, Reolink NVR or FTP server. Choose a way you like and enjoy customized security

I have used RLC-511WA cameras for summer cottage surveillance. A similar camera that had been in use for about a year before. Now the monitoring area has been expanded with a new camera. Experiences with a previous camera below. Person and car detection work very well when the settings are correct. There are very few unnecessary alarms compared to the camera used elsewhere, where there was no intelligent detection. In the dark, there may be alarms about "orcs" resembling a human figure swaying in the wind in a spider's web in front of the camera. Similarly, if the car is in the detection area and e.g. tree branches are swaying in the wind near the car, the camera imagines that the car is moving and sounds the alarm. The settings in the camera are really versatile. The microphone and speaker work somehow, although they could work better. In the event of an alarm, the optional sound buzzer scares the errant driver into making a sudden U-turn out of the area (some interesting shots have been seen). The LED lighting triggered by the alarm in the dark gives a colorful picture of the "visitor" compared to a black and white picture. In the camera, you can define the size of the target that triggers the alarm (smallest/largest), which can be used to limit unnecessary alarms. The area from which alarms are not wanted can also be limited. Personally, I have only used person and car alarms. The real-time image can be viewed in different resolutions. The best thing is, the monitoring costs nothing (of course, you have to have a separate internet connection). Video cannot be saved to the cloud, but continuous recording can be set to the memory card if desired. The camera can also be connected to an NVR recorder. Alerts to e.g. e-mail are at a lower resolution compared to streaming at the best resolution. However, the videos saved on the camera's memory card can be viewed via the Internet anywhere and at the best resolution if desired. Implementation is very easy. I can't criticize the Wi-Fi capacity. The distances to the router are 5 and 7 meters. A wooden wall between.
