Osprey Farpoint 55

Love this bag. Tried several travel backpacks these last years (35-45 L capacity) and I still needed a few extra liters, e.g. for shoes or winter clothes: the 55 L capacity with the 2-bag system is so versatile, carrying one or the other on your back and in hand, or the daypack on torso. Several buyers mentioned it was accepted as a carry-on in most European airlines which made me buy it, apart from the fantastic build quality, straps and handles comfort, and pockets design. Packing cubes advised of course, which make this backpack so relevant for both short and long trips.

An absolutely brilliant city backpack for an interrail trip. Comfortable to carry, easy to use and the separate daypack works well both with the backpack and independently. A perfect purchase.

I gave a backpack as a gift. We wondered about the features of a good tov with the recipient of the gift, the backpack would have needed instructions for use. There seemed to be a lot of features, for example an additional flap that covers the straps, if you want to use the backpack as a bag. In particular, tying the additional backpack was not as easy or straightforward as you would have understood from the pictures. When both are empty, the front backpack seems to hang a little precariously. Fortunately, I found instructional videos online. Hopefully the appearance/usability is better than when the backpacks are full and in use. Since the backpack should be of high quality according to its brand and other reviews, and the idea of ​​a double backpack is good, we ended up keeping it and hoping that it will be practical in a real situation. The material on the back is really pleasant and the product seems to be easy to carry. Three stars, because the first encounter was not entirely convincing.

The backpack is good to carry and it is easy to pack and search for things when the bag is fully opened. I would have liked a pouch/pocket on the bottom edge of the daypack so that it would stay more firmly in place when attached to a large backpack. However, the daypack stayed in place with two straps. I am very satisfied with the bag!
