Osprey Farpoint 55 is a carry-on focused travel pack that pairs a roomy main bag with a detachable daypack for smoother airport-to-trail transitions. The system is built for organised packing and confident load carry, with a supportive frame and a ventilated backpanel. With the daypack removed, the main pack is designed to meet most domestic carry-on requirements, while the daypack works as a personal item. For the 2026 season, it has been updated with a tougher main body fabric and improved daypack integration.

The waist strap is too short for me and it cannot be removed. (I wonder if there is an extension piece for this?)
The daypack is difficult to attach to the front loops. (I lost my patience and had to take the larger backpack off my back to attach it.) Clips would probably be easier to attach.
Otherwise, it's a good backpack.
