Product descriptionThe small and handy "Mummunhammas" (Grandma's tooth) is a traditional knife from a time when the elderly used their knives to chop food, once their teeth were gone. Therefore a loyal and dear companion, designed for detailed jobs in wood work and cooking, with greater control in handling small game.
Our in-house handmade Damascus blade is the result of over 1000 layers of steel, creating a pattern which has traditions dating several thousand years.
The handle is cut from curly birch, stained, and coated with linseed oil – which ensure a firm grip, even when wet. Decorated with special silver ferrules.
Comes with handcrafted sheath of dark vegetable tanned Finnish leather.
Crafted, sharpened and perfected by hand in Harmoinen, Finland.
