Beautiful thermos and large mouth opening is suitable for children, easy to eat. Could keep the heat better. On the other hand, children like lukewarm.

A convenient size for one meal or a portion for a day trip. I bought this as an ice cream scoop for a summer trip. I haven't had time to try it cold yet, but at least the macaroni box could be warmer for a few hours of hiking. However, I wouldn't count on home-made porridge staying hot until the next morning. Maybe that and that. Rather, I would put hot water in a better thermos and make instant porridge in the thermos water the next morning.
