Beautifully handcrafted finnish knife aka puukko with carbon steel blade made by really talented Juha Perttula. The short and thick blade has the Scandi grind. The point is sharp, intended for precision work, for instance, carving holes. Designed to be worn around the neck. Great gift for all the outdoors people who appreciate good old craftmanship or relaible tool for anyone who loves spending time in the forests and summer cottages.
Blade: 3,3 x 80 mm, 80CrV2 carbon steel, hardness: edge 63 HRC, spine 50 HRC
Finger guard: bronze
Handle: 105 mm, curly birch, treated with lampblack and linseed oil
Sheath: vegetable tanned leather with cotton lanyard for neck carry

— Show originalA very well-made nikkari that also works as a general-purpose knife. The blade is cut in such a way that the blade is flexible (50 HRC) but the blade mouth is very hard (63 HRC). Making keishes goes like cutting butter.

One of the best neck/EDC knifes I have used. Simple design... very strong ... cut like an japonesa sword... small and very light. Great leather sheath. Really an fantastic knife! The only less, or not... is an carbon steel so it will rust if you don't care it...dry it and oil it! If you can buy one!!!!!

So far, pleasantly surprised. By the way, the quality leather sheath is up to the knife. maybe I've missed a belt loop in case you don't want to wear it around your neck.Brand
