I bought the socks after reading on a site that they were "the best hiking socks you'll ever need". They were my first merino wool socks. Well suited for summer and autumn hiking. The sea wool socks did not smell and were soft and comfortable on the feet, they also dried in the shoes, it must be dry weather for them to dry. In order for the socks to be "perfect", it would be good to have a sock for each size in the selection, now there is too much looseness in the 43-45 size (L) socks, this problem is certain in all socks, if there is not a size for each foot size. In my opinion, a marine wool sock "stretches" more than a standard technical mixed hiking sock, so that three-size sock would "feel" maybe too big for me. I have a size four three foot.
