But I haven’t been able to walk in the rain for hours, so there’s no complete certainty, I suspect that in this case, moisture will gradually penetrate into the seam between the crown and the brim, because in the case of this and other similar hats, I noticed that this place begins to darken in the rain, even though it was dry inside. In reality, it looks very simple, not very elegant, including because of the smoothed corner of the back of the head (profile). But the same moment makes it rather inconspicuous both for the city and for other conditions. But if you put it on so that the front part sits lower than the back (the front would cover the forehead), then it looks more interesting. There are no wires in the fields, if anything. The color is amazing, its perception changes at different times of the day, in different lighting conditions (to put it simply, from brown to green). If you look not from the point of view of functionality, but simply attractiveness, then color is perhaps the main advantage.
