The new Alpha Competition Series of triggers is Timney’s latest overnight success – 75 years in the making.
First in the Alpha Series line-up is a replacement trigger for the Glock Generation 3 and 4 pistols.
With a factory pull weight of 3 pounds, the Timney Alpha Competition trigger answers the long call for a trigger that has the same feel and performance that matches the reliability of the Glock system by providing an improved trigger design that does not sacrifice any part of the Glock reliability.
Keeping up with Timney’s honored commitment to listening to their customers, the trigger can be installed easily with no gunsmith needed.
TIMNEY ALPHA COMPETITION SERIES
FOR GLOCK GEN 3 / 4 SPECS:
Three-pound pull weight
Crisp trigger break
Teflon nickel (NP3) - trigger bar and sear (this process virtually eliminates friction, allowing for an extremely smooth feel)
Straight aluminum trigger with safety blade (anodized)
Uses all stock Glock parts and springs
Compatible with stock Glock Pistols.
During an independent test, the Alpha Competition trigger fired 10,000 rounds with no oiling, no cleaning, and performed flawlessly with ZERO malfunctions.

— Show originalA high-quality trigger improvement for the old Gen 3 Glock, which is otherwise the best generation of Glock in all its simplicity. Easy installation, and with the polished standard connector, the reset is more sensitive than with the steeper angled one. The gun rejuvenated to the level of Gen 5 GPT. I debated for a long time about this and Zev's equivalent, but Timney won out because the upper spring drum was left out, in practice the standard upper plays well with this. Couldn't have been happier with viranomainen, great service with prompt delivery. I've done all the usual Glock tuning jobs to try to improve my glock trigger over the years but nothing and I mean nothing compares to the trigger feel from the Alpha. A totally different feel, the takeup is similar but smoother but it's the breaking point that's really different, it's so crisp. I mean it was a suprise break, never had that before. It's excellent (expensive) but worth it in my opinion. I'm using this for target shooting so I put a lighter disconnector in, like this it would be too light for a carry role. Remember you need stock parts for this to work safely. Tight groups!
