For a couple of nights when moving from hut to hut or truly covering some ground, this pack features a highly breathable back panel and shoulder straps, plus a frame that supports heavier loads, for going the distance in comfort. Made of rugged 100% recycled nylon.
Note! Patagonia has changed the name of the product from Altvia to Terravia. Some products may still have the Altvia name, but the product itself has not changed.

After a couple of uses, let's say that it's exactly 5/5. I bought it as an everyday backpack, but I believe that it will also be used for day trips, etc. I debated for a long time between the 28-liter and this 36-liter, but I ended up with this when I found through testing that the backpack looks smart even if it is sometimes only half full.
The back panel is great, normally it feels like all backpacks grind, but this one doesn't!
Of course, there could be more pockets, a pretty basic sack type solution with one smaller compartment. Of course, there's a section in the front where you can quickly stuff a jacket/hat, etc.
The rain cover is also a plus!
