Varg’s signature garment is an ultralight down hood, made in recycled polyester, with side zip. It provides fantastic protection in windy weather, making it ideal for everyday wear, on the coast, in the mountains, or wherever you might be. Wear as an extra layer or as an outer garment. It has a wrap-around collar with a down hood to keep you warm. A must-have garment, quite simply!

Main fabric: 100% recycled rip stop polyester, 43g/m2 (Global recycled standard: GRS certificated)
Lining: 100% recycled polyester (GRS certificated)
Insulation: 90/10 certificated RDS (Responsible down standard) duck down, fill power +730
Finish: Bionic water repellent, PFOA/PFOS free

Varg believes that there is a big advantage for the environment when we can produce products out of existing materials. Synthetic fiber is a strong material that lasts over time. It is easy to wash, dries quickly and transports moisture.

The recycled polyester Varg uses utilizes existing resources and reduces the amount of waste we have on earth. The polyester comes from PET bottles or other polyester materials. The process of making recycled polyester results in less carbon dioxide emissions and less water is used compared to virgin polyester. Varg always makes sure that their recycled polyester is certificated. GRS certificate stands for Global recycled standard.
