I just bought a set of three 1 l / 32 oz bags. The half liter bag that comes with the filter seems small for my needs, and I think the 2 liter bags are better suited for base camp than mobile use. Even when handled carefully according to the instructions, there is enough resistance in the filter that you would like to squeeze the bag quite forcefully, but it is worth avoiding this, as this has already caused several bags to leak from the base of the mouthpiece. The bag only fills itself with a strong current, so I usually use a filling cup to help.| Overall rating |

The two liter bags are handy if the water point is further away, you don't have to fetch it so often.
However, it is more difficult to squeeze from a large bag than from a standard half-liter bag.
I tried to make it easier to squeeze by sitting on the bag, it didn't last many times.

A 1-liter bag speeds up the use of the filter. I have carried one bag and one spare with me on hikes. It's a bit of a pain to fill with standing water, but you can fill it with a jug or another container. Strong recommendation to get this bigger bag as a friend of the filter, the standard 0.5 liter bag is really slow to use.
