Accidentally got a lockable model. Probably good as a key chain, yes, but a bit overkill, - who needs a key chain with 400 kg breaking strength? Handy and very light and graceful, for example, as a fixed or spare part in a box, in which case the lock can be justified. For towing small skiers and other applications where it is important to be able to easily open and close the carabiner even with gloves on, a model without a lock is better.

A handy little hook to keep the keys. However, the lock is not as strong (it sometimes twists open) as in real locks.

An excellent replacement for the O-ring on the key chain, if you often have to remove something from the key chain. At first, I doubted whether the screwing would stay closed when in the pocket, but so far it hasn't even come close to opening. The only downside is that you can't get it in black.

These are exactly as expected. Top for attaching equipment you don't want to lose. Also used a lot with dogs. Carabiners without a lock often open when the dog rolls, plays etc.
