ORTLIEB’s frame bag with roll closure helps you start off your bike packing adventure well-prepared. Thanks to the waterproof roll closure —which is closed by three silicone rings— paired with the proven nylon fabric, your luggage inside the bag stays absolutely dry even in the most adverse conditions. The Frame-Pack RC is ideal for storing heavy luggage, such as tools or food, centrally on the bike. This maintains a low center of gravity so that the trail fun remains high even when fully loaded. The roll closure and its large opening allow easy access and easy packing of the bag. The assembly within the frame triangle is done with strong and robust Velcro fasteners. The specific positioning of the Velcro straps along the circumference of the bag enables individual adjustment to the dimensions of your bike. The bag is PVC-free and sustainably made in Germany. Reflective Logo on both sides of the bag.

A handy sized backpack that can hold a suitable amount of supplies for trips. The bag can easily hold a 0.75 liter thermos bottle + snacks. I personally use a bag with a rubber cord closure, which makes it easy to pack longer items in the bag.

Very high-quality feel. Easy to install and the closing mechanism inspires confidence in terms of waterproofing. It was much softer than I feared, which made me realize that my bike would have also been able to fit a 6l bag, when the bag gives way. I also ordered one and transferred this to another bike. So it works very well for what it is intended for.

The roll-up mouth of the new black bag feels tighter than the zipper system of the old slate-colored 4l frame bag. The rubber loops used for closing do not feel particularly strong, but the bag can probably be closed with a piece of string if the loops ever happen to break on the road.

I thought about the zipper version first, but the jamming zipper and the hole (?) In front of the zipper distracted me from this truly waterproof version. Been on many trips and nothing bad has been said
