An easy way to increase bike transport capacity with this product, or allow one wheel to be transported, with the Thule BackSpace XT transport box. Deployment was easy, and the adapter can be quickly removed if desired. The only downside to the product is the price and the lock on the adapter (also ARM = wheel mounting arm) will be with a different key than the bike carrier itself. I recommend buying the Thule lock cylinder set (there are different wet packs available, please consider the lock set when ordering the lock set if you also want the wheel mounting arms (ARMs) for the same lock set. If you want a single key system also get the lock set (I think absolutely))
