Extra groundsheet; increases comfort and your tent lasts longer.

The Helsport footprint is for use under the tent to protect the floor and help it last longer. It protects your tent from abrasive wear when it comes in contact with dirt, stones and branches etc. A Helsport Footprint will also help reduce condensation as it prevents moisture rising from the ground into the vestibule.

Now using a tent is a luxury! Footprint weighs almost nothing, but makes using the apse 100% more comfortable.

I was looking for a new tent for our future bicycle trip from the Netherlands to the Northcape next year. I was already familiar with Helsport (used to have a Femund 4 camp decades ago). The Lofoten Trek 3 Camp tent seemed just right but was hard to find. Varuste had one in stock in Helsinki for a good price. Ordering was simple and straightforward and delivery to the Netherlands was quick. Shipping cost was very acceptable. Varuste communication was swift and adequate. The Lofoten is easy to set-up. Although it is a bit heavier then the Pro version, the mesh door is definitely a plus. If the Pro had this mesh door I would have gone for the Pro. The canopy stays pretty taut, not too much but no obvious sagging. We'll see how it keeps up in the rain which will definitely come during our trip. The poles are not top quality but they do the job. I had some 9,5mm DACs lying around which I could use. Helped shaving off 200grs. The tentpegs are astonishingly light and sturdy. No need to update these. I always use a footprint in my tents and the Helsport footprint has just the right size. It seems sufficiently resilient. I ordered it together with the tent. All in all I am very happy with the tent and the service from Varuste. I will definitely keep an eye on the Varuste webshop.

Really good extra protection for the bottom of the tent. If necessary, this can be done with a little craft, if you can't stand the tent when you're tired.
