The Hultafors Åby forestry axe has a straight, ground blade. The head is shaped to support the hand above the blade when carving. The long, narrow, ergonomic handle gives you power when striking. Particularly suitable for forestry and carving. The axe is hand-forged and made from Swedish axe steel at Hults Bruk using a traditional technique dating back to 1697. The axe blade is forged with numerous blows, which ensures the density and durability of the blade. Take care of your axe, and we can promise that it will last you for years.
- The handle is made of hickory wood and treated with linseed oil.
- Straight blade with Scandinavian grind
- The blade is sharpened, polished and ready to use.
- Includes leather blade guard

— Show originalPractically a small ax head with a full length handle. Light and very convenient also for knitting.
Material and finish worthy of five stars. The only minus in my opinion is the excessively long stem. 50 cm would fit better in a backpack and the head is too light for an actual splitting axe.
