Rab Microlight Alpine Down Jacket Mens is a packable, low-bulk men’s down jacket built to deliver reliable warmth for all-mountain days. Its zoned baffle layout helps balance insulation and airflow so it layers smoothly for hiking, climbing, and mountaineering across changing conditions. The windproof Pertex Quantum outer and hydrophobic down work together to retain loft in damp weather. A down-filled hood and adjustable details help seal in heat when the temperature drops.

Great jacket. Has been worn on an Alpine trip in Austria, autumn fishing on a lake and tucked into its own sleeve in a backpack on a trip to Europe. Washed a few times in the machine and dried in the dryer and is still like new. I was worried about the durability of the zippers at first, but now I have full confidence in them. A few feathers sometimes slip through the seams and get stuck on the black sweater, of course you can never get rid of this.

Packs down impressively small and keeps you warm even on colder outings. The waterproofing also works for light rain and spills. Works well as a mid-layer on very cold trips with good breathability and wind breaking. I've even worn it when sleeping in a sleeping bag. Very happy with this purchase.
