The most common triathlon distances are:
Sprint course: 750 m swimming, 20 km biking, 5 km running.
Standard course or olympic course: 1,5 km swimming, 40 km biking, 10 km running.
Middle distance: 1,9 km swimming, 90 km biking, 21 km running.
Full distance or ironman triathlon: 3,8 km swimming, 180 km biking, 42.2 km running (marathon).

There are different distances for children, too, depending on the age and the contest.
