Product description

The Hispar Gaiter is a fully waterproof and breathable eVent® gaiter with a full front zip closure, for general wet weather use.

The Hispar Gaiter is ideal for hill and mountain walking in wet weather and features a 600D Ballistic polyester ankle which adds durability and strength.

A flexible polymer strip on the rear of the gaiter will keep it in one place when out on the mountain for a long period of time, remaining comfortable and tight-fitting throughout.

When the snow left just “appropriately” when they came, the snow and water resistance hasn’t gotten checked, but they also seem to fit well over mid-height light hiking shoes. You should check the size recommendations before purchasing from the RAB website, for your own 42-size shoe and short heels, the M-size is ok. After the first adjustment, folding is handy due to the zipper slack, considerably more comfortable than traditional leggings.
