Talon 44 features clean, modern design and stunning performance no matter what your adventure. Talon 44 is a versatile pack, designed as a true mountain professional and featuring all you could need for winter days or overnight trips.
The cleverly designed new AirScape™ accordion foam backpanel combined with a seamless lumbar-to-hipbelt body wrap increases air flow and provides an even more comfortable carrying experience, by keeping the load close to the body and spreading the weight evenly around the hips.
Talon 44 features an adjustable back length, ensuring the pack fits well to your body and enabling the most comfortable carrying experience. The pack is complete with innovative solutions such as Stow-on-the-Go™ trekking pole attachment, twin ice-axe attachments and InsideOut™ compression straps. The zipped pockets on each side of the hipbelt allow quick and easy access to smaller items such as phone, snacks and GPS. On top of the lid you will find another conveniently placed pocket, ideal for gloves, hat, map or other items that you need easy access to. On the front of the pack is a large PowerMesh™ pocket, which is ideal for a wet jacket or extra layer of clothing. Keeping hydrated during activity is essential and re-filling your hydration reservoir has been made easy with the quick access external hydration sleeve with reservoir hanging loop. Talon 44 also features a floating lid, enabling extra storage capacity should you need to carry additional gear, as well as an entrance into the lower compartment through a horizontal zip.
Talon 44 is compatible with all Hydraulics™ reservoirs and the size Medium Ultralight Raincover.

— Show originalI once owned a backpack from a previous model house in 2010-2015, and now I bought the same backpack again. I still like it. Admittedly, the slightly perhaps thinner straps of the straps will want to slip more easily than in that older model. Admittedly, as soon as the load is heavier then this has not been a problem. Hip belt and shoulder straps, as well as other adjustments really good.
Ergonomics really well thought out. The backpack fits very well against the back.
Enough straps and attachment loops for rods / logs is a plus.
Access directly from inside the backpack from the bottom is also a good addition.
And as with other Osprey backpacks and rucksacks, there’s a place for a drinking gap between storage and your back, making it easier to access and fill. As well as winter, the back warms the drinking bladder so it doesn’t freeze.
The downside is at least too small straps and straps for your own use. And because of this, the shoulder tensioning straps loosen on their own during the day. May be tightening at times.Brand
