Elektroniset Nevercold Ontario -lämpökäsineet ovat rakenteeltaan hyvin ohuet, eikä niissä ole varsinaista lämpöeristekerrosta. Ne onkin ensisijaisesti suunniteltu aluskäsineiksi paksumpien talvikäsineiden alle. Ontario -lämpökäsineitä voi kuitenkin käyttää pakkassäällä myös sellaisenaan vaikkapa kohtalaista sorminäppäryyttä vaativissa tehtävissä (mm. valokuvaaminen), joissa paksumpien käsineiden käyttäminen ei ole mahdollista. Lämpökäsineet soveltuvat erinomaisesti myös valkosormisuudesta kärsiville sekä sisä- että ulkokäyttöön.
Ontario -lämpökäsineiden lämmityselementit ovat sormien ympärillä, joten lämpö jakautuu käsineiden sisällä tasaisesti ja miellyttävästi. Käsineiden selkäpuoli on ohutta ja joustavaa polyesteri-spandex-sekoitekangasta, ja kämmenpuoli hieman paksumpaa pehmeäpintaista mikrokuitukangasta. Sisävuori on miellyttävän pehmeää polyesterikangasta.
Käsineiden akkutaskut ovat ranteen kohdalla. Virtalähteinä ovat tehokkaat ja pienikokoiset litium-ioni-akut.
Ontario -käsineissä on kolmiportainen lämpötilan säätö. Lämmitysvoimakkuus valitaan ranteessa olevalla painonapilla. Painonapin valon väri ilmaisee valitun lämmitysvoimakkuuden. Täydellä teholla lämmityselementtien lämpötila on 52 °C ja akunkestoaika noin 2 tuntia. Alimmalla teholla lämmityselementtien lämpötila on 37 °C ja akunkestoaika noin 8 tuntia. Lämmityksen voi myös kytkeä painonapista kokonaan pois silloin, kun sille ei ole tarvetta.

Fit and quality pretty good. They work best as an inner glove, under thicker insulated mittens or gloves, as they are quite thin on their own. Battereries make bulk around inner wrist, can be difficult with some coat sleeves. Battery charging uses proprietery connector and cable (although with a USB A/C adaptor at the charger end) so can't be charged with unless you have that cable with you.
