The story of Kuivalihakundi began on a fishing trip in Lapland, sparked by disappointment in store-bought jerky. Timo Lahti knew he could do better, leading him to relentlessly develop his own jerky recipes. Early attempts were far from perfect, but passion and determination kept him going.
With the support of friends and family, Timo built his first production facility on an old glass transport trailer. In 2015, Kuivalihakundi received its first official approval, and the journey has been upward ever since. Today, Kuivalihakundi is recognized as a pioneer in Finnish jerky, known for products that showcase quality and craftsmanship.
