Equally at home on low-vis operations and high-tempo assaults this boot combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability of a light hiker. Equipped with an Advanced Chassis providing lateral support and anti-puncture underfoot the boot is protective yet does not compromise freedom of movement.
The upper material needs to be robust and very flexible. To meet these requirements, a non-reflective material mix of anti-debris mesh, PU coate leather and single-layer mesh has been selected. The underlying GORE-TEX membrane makes the boot an ideal companion in all kinds of weather. The SensiFit system cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a secure, precise and almost customized fit. The inside of the boot is reinforced with an additional material to support climbing and fast rappelling.
The performance and stability of the sole construction play a crucial role in the field. In combination, the Contagrip Chevron Lugs outsole, Advanced Chassis and anti-puncture Enigma Zero HT2 insert provide an optimum response to all requirements. An OrthoLite inlay sole ensures a comfortable fit and additional damping in the boot, while perforations in the sole support a pleasant foot climate.

— Original anzeigenIch war etwas skeptisch wegen der Salomon XA Forces MID GTX EN Quicklace-Schnürsenkel und wollte deshalb auf normale Schnürsenkel umsteigen. Meiner ersten Erfahrung nach funktionieren diese Schnürsenkel besser, sodass sich der Schuh nach dem Anziehen und Lüften richtig öffnet.
Sie sind vielleicht auch etwas leichter.
ABER ... obwohl in der Produktbeschreibung von Durchtrittschutz die Rede ist, sind diese Schuhe nicht EN-zertifiziert!
Hoffentlich bedeutet das Forces-Label trotzdem eine bessere Verschleißfestigkeit als bei „handelsüblichen Salomon-Schuhen“.
Bei meiner anspruchsvollen Nutzung halten handelsübliche Schuhe ein Jahr, Profischuhe zwei Jahre. Wir werden in zwölf Monaten einen Zwischenbericht dazu abgeben.
