The packs wrap around the body, keeping the mass close and stable. Shoulder straps and back panels are ventilated to help with comfort in warm weather.

Compact, highly stable, fully featured daypack for fast trips with minimal loads. The 8.5L capacity (519 cu. In.) holds core essentials for day hikes or mountain biking. The main compartment is easily accessible, and Wingman™ pockets at the hips keep small essentials right at hand. The design delivers a secure, comfortable stable fit. Aeroform™ mesh in the shoulder straps and back panel delivers longwearing cushion with maximum airflow.

Arc'teryx selected SOURCE™ hydration bladders t because they deliver exceptional flow rates, effective capacity, minimal slosh and ease of use. The ergonomic, high flow bite valve delivers water with little effort, an important factor on the move. The valve can be locked closed while not in use to eliminate leakage and dribbling. The BPA free bladder has a maintenance free liner that helps prevent microbial build up without adding a plastic taste. The leakproof wide mouth top makes filling, cleaning and drying exceptionally easy.

Smaller packs often sacrifice function and features due to their size, but Arc'teryx puts a premium on functional design and realizes that simple things can make big differences. The Chilcotin 8 features a substantial 2L SOURCE™ bladder for hydration on the move, and a polyethylene frame sheet to distribute the load. A docking station helps keep the bite valve free from grit, and external attachment straps carry wet gear, helmets or trekking poles. A secure accessory pocket holds wallet and smartphone, and has a clip to secure keys and help eliminate trailhead lockouts.

Body: N210r-HT nylon 6,6 ripstop body uses a high density single ripstop fabric coated with silicone to shed moisture and increase waterproofness.
