Light, pliant and well ventilated – Abisko Trail Trousers are designed for high-intensity activities such as cross-country skiing and fast-paced trekking. Made from durable G-1000 Eco with recycled polyester and organic cotton combined with stretch fabric for the best possible functionality. The G-1000 fabric on the front of the legs protects against wind from the waist to just below the knee, and a panel over the rear keeps moisture out when sitting on damp surfaces. Stretch fabric at the back of the legs, lower legs and below the waist gives excellent freedom of movement and ventilation. For a perfect fit even without a belt, the waist has elasticated sides and a cord adjustment at the front inspired by surf shorts; a solution that minimises the risk of friction building up under a backpack’s hip belt, especially during intense activity. The trouser legs have a well-thought-through cut that is a little wider above the knees and slimmer lower down to minimise wind drag and chafing. In addition, the usual hand pockets have been replaced with a pair of flat leg pockets with buttoned flaps that are positioned high so they function both for storing items and warming hands. Ventilation openings at the sides from the hips to the knees and leg endings with drawcord adjustments.
