Millet Everest GTX

The Everest from Millet of France is a dedicated high altitude waterproof Gore-Tex® climbing boot that's very popular among climbers in Denali and the Himalayas. Warmth is an absolute priority. Shell is made from layers of closed cell foam, reflective fabric and Cordura® nylon, all of which provide more warmth than denser plastic. Midsole is thick layers of foam and carbon fiber for reduced underfoot conduction. Integrated insulated gaiters can be worn without closed cell foam inner boot (useful if you need to dig out your tent in the middle of the night). Shell is cinched down with Velcro® straps (way better than frozen laces) -- easy to adjust with mitts on.
Crampon compatible.
Performs best with semi-rigid and semi-auto.
Neoprene straps for cold conditions.
