Härkila was born out of a passion and desire to develop better equipment. The brand was founded in 1985 and its roots run deep in the Nordic wilderness, in Västra Götaland, southern Sweden.

The founder of Härkila, Kjell Lennartsson, had a clear goal. He wanted to create clothing and equipment that truly serve the needs of hunters. The first Härkila outfit was designed specifically for moose hunting, and at the same time, the hunting industry’s first collaboration with GORE-TEX was born. Over the years, Härkila has grown from a local operator to one of the most respected brands in the industry, now operating in over 50 countries. The success is built on uncompromising quality, continuous product development, and a bold attitude towards utilizing new technologies and design.
