The cooperative Pro Agro is spread out around the Caranavi valley, state of La Paz, Bolivia. The cooperative was formed in 1997, and is now made up of about 300 members/families. In addition to handling coffee, Union Pro Agro has a social mission to help its producers develop, and currently the cooperative has helped facilitate the registration of women farmers, wives and widows, in order to obtain the deeds to the land in their own names.
Each individual coffee is roasted in our own micro roastery according to slow roast principles. We actively seek to highlight the unique characteristics of each coffee.
This coffee has a nice aroma with a delightful sweet hint of marzipan. The taste reminds of dark chocolate, which makes the coffee rich and strong.
