A para nut is a demanding specimen. The para nut tree will only grow in the proper environment, in between toucans, lianas and howler monkeys. It wants lots of sunshine and a daily splash of rain please. In return, the tree delivers the amazing para nuts, full of healthy fats and minerals. It takes sun, monkeys, soil and rain. If you take the tree out of the forest and cultivate it, it stops producing. No monkeys, no nuts.

Our treats have been packed in compostable (completely bio degradable) plastic and FSC carton. You can throw the plastic away with your vegetables and fruit waste and the box with in the paper bin.

Important: both the nuts and dried fruits have been packed in a place where other nuts and peanuts have been packed.
